Overview
The Aura is a clean-lined fire table offered as three squares and one long rectangle. The squares measure 42, 48 and 60 inches across and the rectangle is 78 by 32 inches. Height rises with size from 16 to 20 inches. In the product photographs the sides are flat and unpatterned, finished in black.
Choose a size, then a stainless steel or Pro Series brass burner, natural gas or propane and one of five ignition routes. The burner, a matched pan and the ignition parts ship with the table, so your installer works from one kit. We send the color chart after you order and confirm the finish with you before the order is placed with Fire by Design.

Features
Three squares and a long rectangle
The 42 inch square is 16 inches high and the 48 inch square 18. The 60 inch square and 78 inch rectangle are 20. Weights climb with size, from about 285 pounds on the smallest square to 495 pounds on the largest, while the rectangle weighs about 395.
The 60 inch square
The largest Aura square has a 12 inch tabletop surface and stands on a 60 inch base, as wide as its top. Its 37.5 inch square pan holds about 127 pounds of fire glass, seven bags of lava rock or three bags of rolled lava stone.
A 78 inch rectangle with a glass screen
The rectangle is 78 inches long, 32 wide and 20 high, with an 11 inch tabletop surface. A glass wind screen with brackets, 63 by 17 inches, is included. The burner pan measures 56 by 10 inches.
Ring burners for the squares
The 42 and 48 inch squares take a 12 inch 304 stainless steel ring at 85K BTU. Their brass alternative is an 11 inch Pro Series snowflake at 42K BTU. On the 60 inch square the ring grows to 24 inches at 170K BTU, and the brass snowflake to 18 inches at 124K BTU.
A linear burner for the rectangle
The rectangle uses a 44 inch single linear burner in 316 stainless steel at 62K BTU. The brass alternative is a 24 inch Pro Series TX burner at 50K BTU. Either one sits in the 56 by 10 inch pan, which takes about 51 pounds of fire glass.
Hardwired, battery or match lit
The hardwired choices are all AWEIS units. The 24VAC kit includes a transformer and the 30VDC kit a power supply, while the 120V version needs an adapter and runs a single unit. Away from power, the battery system uses three AA batteries and a rocker switch with a status light. Match lit relies on a key valve and bracket.

FAQ
Does the 78 inch rectangle include a wind screen?
Yes. A 63 by 17 inch glass screen with brackets is in the kit. The three squares are listed without one.
How much fire glass does each size hold?
About 50 pounds on the 42 inch square, 60 on the 48 inch, 127 on the 60 inch and 51 on the 78 inch rectangle. Lava rock and rolled lava stone are alternatives.
Can the Aura run without mains power?
Yes, with the battery system. It runs on three AA batteries, lights from a rocker switch and suits portable setups, where Fire by Design recommends propane. It also works with natural gas.
What should the installer know?
A licensed professional should handle the gas and any wiring, using at least 12 gauge wire on hardwired installs. Plumbing codes require a manual gas shutoff within 6 feet of the table. Drainage is recommended whether or not the ignition is electronic.
How is the finish chosen?
After you order, we send the color chart. Once you have picked, we confirm the finish and then place the order with Fire by Design.
Will wind or rain stop the ignition working?
Fire by Design builds the AWEIS for outdoor use. It withstands winds above 55 mph and can be submerged without damage, and it relights a blown-out flame in about 15 seconds.
